Jed York: Nick Bosa was held on Chiefs' Super Bowl LIV huge play.

Despite the passage of four years, 49ers owner Jed York is still not satisfied with what he considers to be a poor decision that was made against his club during the Super Bowl matchup against the Chiefs.

Yesterday, York stated that he still recalls the 44-yard throw that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made to Tyreek Hill in Super Bowl LIV. The pass occurred on third-and-15 with the 49ers leading 20-10 and seven minutes remaining in the fourth quarter

At that moment in the game, it seemed as though the 49ers were on the verge of winning the game. This deep completion, on the other hand, was responsible for the first of three touchdowns scored by the Chiefs late in the fourth quarter of the game, which Kansas City ultimately won by a score of 31-20.

York is still of the opinion that Nick Bosa was held accountable and that the Mahomes-to-Hill pass should have been re-called.

I remember Nick Bosa being held on third-and-long and it not being called," York said. "It was a really frustrating situation." What's more, it's football.

I should say this, I haven't spoken to anyone with Detroit, but I feel for them when you're in a situation where you're up and you believe you can win a game and make it memorable, and things go the other way. I should say this because I feel for them

On both the positive and negative aspects of it, I've experienced both. I've been on both sides. The ideas that are running through your brain when you are up by ten points against a team in a Super Bowl are things like, "We are going to have a parade, somebody is going to Disneyland, this is going to be awesome, and then you don't."

York is hoping that the rematch of the Super Bowl from the following week does not finish with him grumbling about the officials.
