Report: Raiders set to hire Luke Getsy as offensive coordinator.

On the same day that the Raiders and the prospective offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury were unable to reach an agreement on a contract,

the Raiders made the decision to transition to Luke Getsy, who had previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Bears.

According to a report by SI.com's Albert Breer, the Raiders are reportedly closing a deal to employ Getsy, who was let go from his position a month ago.

In the case of Kingsbury, we discovered that it is not finished until it is finished. On the other hand, the Raiders are making another attempt to accomplish their goal.

Two years were spent with Getsy serving as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears.

In Green Bay, he had previously served as the quarterbacks coach and the passing game coordinator with the team.

It was between the years 2016 and 2017 that he tutored the receivers for the Packers,

which gave him five years of expertise working with Raiders WR Davante Adams.
